The SWINGYDE…..

I can’t believe I get this excited a bout a piece of yellow plastic, (though be warned it also comes in black!).

The Swingyde, as well as being the simplest of golf swing training aids, is also one of the cheapest, next to Dave Pelz’s P3 Balls and the iPhone Golf Swing Tempo Application. It WILL help you increase impact speed, ensure correct swing path, help you develop a late release of the club head at impact. If you are a slicer it ‘may’ cure your slice. Now I say may, because there are a multitude of possible causes for your slice.

There’s a sense of huge disappointment when this thing first arrives at your door. Upon opening the package, you get a cheap looking piece of plastic, a wing nut, a second rate sweat band, and a short Jim Flick video describing the use of the Swingyde…..Do Not Be Fooled!…..

This is a MUST HAVE golf training aid. Particularly if you suffer from ‘Casting’ or not being able to hold your wrist angle for a late release through the impact zone. Both of which will absolutely kill any chance you have of both, attaining swing speed, and thereby, distance.

This simple device attaches quickly to any club in your bag. As you make your swing, the aim is to get the Swingyde to rest on your wrist both through the backswing and the follow through. Ensuring perfect club head alignment and swing path. It also serves as a visual guide at the halfway back position, where your club should be parallel to the target line with the club face pointing to the sky.

It fits easily in your bag for a trip to the range. It’s light. Fits any club, lefty or righty! And it’s plastic! (Or did I mention that already?) So get your Swingyde Training Aid Here!

Jim Flick Says….

“In my 57 years of playing and 43 years of teaching I have never seen a training tool like my SWINGYDE to help train golfers of all abilities to swing their club on line, every time. Let me share my discovery with you !”

Here’s an Amazon Review that I picked out

A. Kid’s …Amazon Review First, I will admit that the price is outrageous for this simple little piece of plastic (and the included DVD, which you can watch in advance on YouTube), but I tell you what, this thing absolutely does what it claims to do! After just a couple of practice sessions (swinging in the back yard), not only am I swinging on plane, but I am able to detect other swing flaws (like cranking my hips too early which opens the club face). Over a short period of time, I feel like I am naturally “in the groove” when I swing, and I am thinking less about all of the mechanics. This thing definitely helps to create muscle memory and the natural (and correct) feel for the golf swing. On my first golf outing after working 10 minutes for 5 consecutive nights with the Swingyde, I played the best golf I have ever played. My club face was square and I connected with the ball better than I ever have. (I generally shoot in the 110 range and on this last round, I scored 98). If you are handy with tools, you may be able to rig up something like this product, but for the rest of us, spend the $25 and get “on plane”. If the rating scale went to 10, I would rate this product a 10…..

So buy ‘Swingyde’ at the best price, GET THE SWINGYDE HERE

I just love these balls.

They allow you to practice practically anywhere, and are the official golf ball for ‘Urban Golf’ competition.

What’s great about them is that you get a third of the actual flight of your real golf ball. Therefore, you can make your backyard practice meaningful,l in terms of distance, while at the same time, keeping your word to the wife, that you won’t be breaking any windows.

You can even draw and fade them. Way better than those awful whiffle balls, that give you next to no feed back.

Almost GOLF Point3 Practice Golf Balls feature:

Solid core of cross-linked foam creates enough weight (13.5 grams) for limited distance performance

1/8 mm dimples for true trajectory and flight

Solid core and internal pressure simulate real ball flight

Travels approximately one-third the distance of a normal golf ball

Perfectly balanced for true spin, trajectory, accuracy

Extremely soft, making it backyard safe

Out-performs wiffle and blown plastic balls

So do yourself a favour and try these Dave Pelz Almost Golf Point 3 Balls.
Do you know what swing tempo Tiger Woods Uses? Or Ernie Els?

More importantly, do you know what Swing Tempo you use. If you have one, is it consistent?

In my humble opinion, Golf Swing Tempo is the MOST underrated and underwritten about subject, in all of Golfdom! Largely, because for many years it was seen as somewhat of a natural ability. One that not many golf instructors, (including the top ones), touched upon in their teachings. Even David Leadbetter, in his book ‘Faults and Fixes’, only gives it a passing mention….”Tempo is basically the overall speed of your swing”. Jim Flick in ‘How To Become A Complete Golfer’…..”The speed with which you take the club back, does not necessarily relate to the speed with which you bring it forward”. We can only assume that the PGA Tour pro’s developed their tempo as a natural progression, of learning golf, because they certainly weren’t learning it from these guys.

I have literally hundreds of books on the subject of golf. You may have a few of your own. If you were looking for instruction on the grip, I could easily find you over 30 books, each with excellent descriptions and pictures to help you find the correct grip. Likewise, if you wanted to know the correct set up, or the correct position at the top of the backswing, I could probably find you over 50. Yet, if you were to ask me what speed you should swing at, or what swing tempo you should use. Then I could only find you one! Tour Tempo: Golf’s Last Secret Finally Revealed, written byJohn Novosel and John Garrity in 2004. If I were to be totally honest with you, this one book transformed my golf game instantly. I had spent so much time working on all the individual parts of the golf swing and yet, it was this book, which became the glue that held my swing together. My drives got longer, my irons got more accurate, my handicap dropped, week after week. The ‘Golf Gods’ truly blessed us when they gave John Novosel his ‘Eureka’ moment.

Mr Novosel, studied hours and hours of footage, of ALL of the PGA touring pro’s, including some of the greats of yesteryear. He discovered the secret quite by accident. ALL of these great players had one thing that was consistent….Yes even Jim Furyk! They all swing to a consistent 3 to 1 ratio. 3 to the top of the backswing and 1 to impact. This book will have you swinging to the exact same speed and ratio as Tiger Woods…..In FIFTEEN MINUTES! It comes complete with a CD Rom, that has examples of students achieving upwards of 20mph swing speed increase, within minutes.

If you only buy one golf swing aid book this year, to help get your game on track. Then make it this one! I guarantee, you won’t be disappointed.

Buy Tour Tempo at the best price though!……Get Your Copy Here.

Here is just one sample customer review from Amazon……

The subtitle of this book is “Golf’s Last Secret Finally Revealed”. There couldn’t be a better description of this book. I have for many years carried a 20 handicap. During the summer of ’03, I made a major commitment to rebuilding my golf swing. This consisted of twelve lessons and loads of practice. I learned how to grip the club properly, how to set-up, how to take the club back, and how to swing through the ball. Like many players rebuilding their swing, my scores got worse initially before getting better. However, even after the changes settled in there was no net gain in my index. I could now hit my best shots really, really well, but I still hit enough bad shots in a round to cancel the really good ones. What was happening was that while I was better mechanically, I was playing with way too many swing thoughts. I was not enjoying playing because I was playing in fear of making a mistake, of not remembering something in a long list of swing thoughts. A playing partner recommended Tour Tempo to me a couple of months ago. After adopting the lessons of Tour Tempo, results were almost immediate. Lower scores (index down to 16.8), and more fun from playing golf. Now the only thing in my mind when I step up to the ball is the target and a cadence. In fact, I believe my improvement has resulted from both my work on mechanics and tempo. I was unable to benefit from the mechanics alone, however, because the successful golf swing , it seems, is more than just the sum of the parts; it is how everything works together in time. Buy this book. Frank Hulton : Philadelphia
